FORM

Primary Solids

Basic primary shapes 2D can be extended or rotated to make volumetric solids (3D) and they are easily recognized. They are circle, square, and triangles.

Subtractive Forms

Fragments are missing from primary solids but the forms still maintain their formal identities because the eye searches for regularity and continuity.

Linear Forms

Series of forms or shapes in sequence

Radial Forms

A series of linear form that move away from a central point with emphasis on the radiated forms

Articulation of Form

Our perception of a plane can be altered by it surface. It can be effected by texture, colors, and directional or optical pattern.
